Aylsham Foodie Quiz

Around 80 quizzers enjoyed an evening of food-related questions at Slow Food Aylsham’s Foodie Quiz Night on 31st March.  Held in Aylsham Town Hall, the evening also featured supper of cottage pie, cooked by Slow Food members, using of course, local produce.

Prizes for the winning table were also made up from local produce, including apple juice, cheese and cheese biscuits while the evening’s raffle prize was a magnificent basket of locally-sourced items including wine, cakes, biscuits, relishes and a voucher from one of the town’s newest shops, the Gusto delicatessen in Norwich Road.

Summing up the evening, quizmaster Roger Willis said, “I think everyone had a good time, although I’ll admit that some of the questions were a bit hard!  But we all had a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to next year.”
