The Taste Adventure at Aylsham Show 2011

Members of Slow Food Aylsham were at the 2011 Aylsham Show, presenting The Taste Adventure.  Children of all ages took part in this lighthearted competition which encourages children to think about food as they journey through five interactive zones, based on the five senses: taste, sight, touch, smell and hearing.  All those taking part were entered into a free draw with prizes of a year’s family membership of Slow Food and a family ticket for the local narrow gauge Bure Valley Railway.  Slow Food member Jane Chittenden summed up the day: “It was an absolute delight to see the smiles on children’s faces and to appreciate how much they enjoyed the Taste Adventure experience.  I’m sure they have all learned something new about food today!”
