Tickets are now on sale for the 2025 Aylsham Food Festival held this autumn in its traditional slot on the first weekend of October – Friday 3 – Sunday 5 October.
Norfolk’s Rural Capital of Food celebrates its flourishing food and drink scene – and 20 years of Cittaslow status, the international network of towns and cities that promotes quality of living.
Organised by Slow Food Aylsham and Cittaslow, and set in Aylsham’s historic and picturesque centre, the Festival features a new-look Food & Crafts Market, the ever-popular Country Market, wine tasting, the showpiece Festival Dinner and, of course, the famous Big Slow Brunch. For entertainment, visitors to the Saturday Market will be treated to performances by local buskers and a children’s face painter.
So email us now to book your seats at the Festival Dinner or Brunch – or both – to avoid disappointment. All Festival events usually sell out fast, so please book early.
It’s a must on any dedicated foodie’s calendar.

- Country Market, Town Hall, 8.30 – 2pm. Free entry.
- Festival Dinner at Aylsham High School, 6 – 10pm. Tickets £20pp* This includes musical entertainment by the High School students.
Tables are for 10. If your party is less than 10, please expect to be seated with others.
Saturday 4 Oct
- Food & Craft Market, 8.30 – 2pm. More stalls in the Town Hall and entertainment by Joan’s Silver Pin band.
- 7pm: Wine tasting with choice cheeses at the Aylsham Care Trust, St Michael’s Avenue. Tickets can be purchased on the Heritage Centre website: www.aylshamheritage.com
Sunday 5 Oct
- The Big Slow Brunch – 10.30 to 1pm in the Town Hall. Freshly cooked traditional Full English and/or Continental buffet and served by members of Slow Food and friends. Tickets £10pp – Children under 12, £5*
