Tickets are flying fast for the 20th anniversary of the Aylsham Food Festival organised by Slow Food – so book your place now.

There are still places for the Big Slow Sunday Brunch on 5 October but the Festival Dinner at the High School is fully booked.

Tickets for the Brunch can be ordered here or by email  at slowfoodaylsham@gmail.com

The three-day event opens on Friday 3 October with the ever-popular Country Market in the Town Hall, followed in the evening by the Festival Dinner at Aylsham High School.

On the Saturday, shoppers and visitors at the Food and Craft Market will be entertained by local folk band Joan’s Silver Pin in the Market Place with a children’s face painter in the Town Hall where there will be more food, drink and craft stallholders offering their products.

And Sunday morning is Big Slow Brunch time in the Town Hall, when families and friends come together to have a leisurely read of the papers or simply mardle over a Full English or Continental breakfast freshly cooked and served by members of Slow Food. Tickets £10pp – £5 for children under 12.

This year’s Food Festival will celebrate 20 years of Aylsham’s unique status as a Slow Food and Cittaslow town.

Unique because it’s the only town in England – and only one of three in the UK – to be part of the global network of towns and cities that promotes quality of living.

So, book now to guarantee a place at the Big Slow Brunch and join us to celebrate the farmers, the local producers and their workers who work all year to feed us.
