Foodie Festival for a ‘foodie’ Town

Now in its 14th year, Aylsham Food Festival is again on the calendar for 2019. In its usual early October slot, it will run from 4th to 6th to include the town’s monthly Farmers Market.

Aylsham has a well-deserved reputation as a ‘foodie’ town, always ready to celebrate local produce. Its food outlets, particularly two award-winning butchers, a greengrocer’s, two bakers and the weekly Country Market, together with a range of cafes and restaurants, all make local food readily available.

As well as the Farmers Market, the Festival will also feature ‘An evening with’ dining event at the High School, a wine tasting evening, a juggling chef in the Market Place, plus of course, the traditional Sunday Brunch in the Town Hall.

Organised by Slow Food Aylsham, the Festival has always been popular with the local community, celebrating the marvelous local food available in Norfolk.
